All York St John students are free to drop in for a chat, give us a call, send us an email or use the instant messaging service.

Our flat can be found on the Heslington West campus of UoY, at Grimston House. From Lord Mayors Walk, our flat is:

• 30 minutes on foot

• 10 minutes by bike

• 5 minutes by car

You can also take the 66 bus from Merchantgate to the UoY Library, which is a short walk from the flat. The UoY campus map has a detailed view of the area around Grimston House. Alternatively, consider dropping in at The Haven, a mental health service open from 6pm-11pm. This is situated on 30 Clarence Street, in close proximity to the YSJ Campus.

It should be noted that the service is only open during University of York term nights, you can find these dates listed below:

2018/2019

Autumn term: 24 September 2018 – 30 November 2018
Spring term: 7 January 2019 – 15 March 2019
Summer term: 15 April 2019 – 21 June 2019

2019/2020

Autumn term: 30 September 2019 – 6 December 2019
Spring term: 6 January 2020 – 13 March 2020
Summer term: 14 April 2020 – 19 June 2020

Unfortunately we are only able to send information and sexual health supplies through the University of York’s internal mail system. If you do need information we may be able to send you some via IM or email. If you require sexual health supplies you should be able to find some at the following locations:
