The volunteers that provide Nightline view the organisation as a valuable resource to the students living and working at the University of York and York St. John, and we hope that you do too.

Nightliners do not receive any pay for the work that they do, and all the financial help that we receive from YUSU can only go so far towards running the most efficient service that we can. Fundraising is therefore a vital part of our organisation, with funds necessary for training new volunteers, buying and repairing equipment, and restocking the flat with necessary supplies. If you would like to, we would appreciate any donations you feel able to give. Options for donations include:

Nightlive Festival!

York Nightline are hosting a festival! Join us on Thursday the 15th of June in Courtyard Terrace for a night of live music and discounted drinks! Featuring sets from university bands such as Brassanova and Dysfunktion, Nightlive will be a perfect way to wind down from exams and spend a summer evening with friends. Entry is free, so what better excuse to come down!

Wristbands will also be available to purchase for £2 to receive discounted drinks all evening.

Thank You ASDA!

Public faces Emily and El collect the cheque!

We would like to say a huge thank you to ASDA at Monks Cross, we have been one of their three charities for their token scheme over Christmas. Shoppers were able to vote for a charity of their choice with a token they were given after shopping, and we were privileged to be one of the three fantastic charities they chose this time around.

Thanks to ASDA and all the people who voted with their tokens, we have been donated £200 to go towards the service!

Don't forget also about our Charity Ball, tickets for which are available on YUSU.org. The prizes for the raffle will be released soon, but as a sneak preview, look forward to gym memberships, afternoon tea and YUSU black cards!

York Nightline Charity Ball

York Nightline are proud to be hosting a charity ball at Banyan Bar, York on the 9th of March, to raise awareness of the service and the necessary funds to keep it running. It is sure to be a fun event that everyone can attend and enjoy!

Tickets include a luxury spread of food and a drink and entry to our raffle, with a wide range of prizes to be won. There'll also be live music from jazz ensemble Dysfunktion, so this isn't an event to be missed! Plus, if you get in early, you could be one of the thirty early bird ticket-holders, which will net you an extra glass of prosecco on arrival, so don't delay as once they're gone, they're gone!
