However, a number of volunteers have chosen to spread awareness of Nightline and act as public representatives of the service around the University of York and York St John, and in doing so have stopped taking calls to Nightline. Our Public Faces are as integral to the service as our listening volunteers, helping spread the word and hosting fundraising events, many of which are detailed in our Fundraising Blog.

Below is a gallery of our current public faces, all of them ex-listening volunteers. Feel free to come and say hello to them if you see them around or have any questions about the service. Often they can be seen accompanied by our mascot, Kevin the Cow, who is frequently around to meet students and let people know that there’s someone there to listen.
